About First Due Desings

Who I am?
My name is Tony Tomecko. I am 27 years old and a fulltime firefighter/paramedic for the City of Ravenna, Ohio. I also work part time for Streetsboro and Reminderville. I have always had a passion for firefighting and graphic designs and this is my way to merge the two.
First Due Designs creates custom graphics for the fire service — shift logos, department identities, and fundraiser artwork built from scratch with meaning and pride. No templates, no shortcuts. Just clean, hand-designed visuals that represent your crew the way it should be. Built by a firefighter, for firefighters.

Trained in the Trade, Driven by the Job
I’ve been working in graphic design for over 12 years, starting long before First Due Designs came to life. I grew up learning the craft hands-on while working alongside my dad, who owns a graphic design and print shop. That early experience taught me the foundations of design, production, and what it takes to bring artwork to life — whether it's for print, apparel, or branding. Over the years, I’ve built a skillset that blends creativity with purpose. Now, with a career in the fire service, I focus on creating designs that reflect the pride, identity, and tradition of the crews I work with.

More Than Just a Logo
When you work with First Due Designs, you’re not just getting a graphic — you’re getting a design that’s built around your crew’s identity. Every logo is made from scratch with real input, attention to detail, and a clear understanding of the fire service. I don’t do shortcuts or clipart — just clean, professional designs that stand out on shirts, stickers, social media, and wherever else you rep your station. If you want something that actually means something to your department, I’d be proud to work with you.
